Thanksgiving Thursday
Would you consider providing a meal on a Thursday or any other evening during the week for homeless men, women and children?
Volunteers of America Northwest Ohio Crossroads facility shelters, houses, feeds and provides for hundreds of homeless individuals, families, and veterans annually. We would like to invite you and your organization to consider participating in our "Thanksgiving Thursday" program, providing meals to the homeless and less fortunate members of Erie County.
The spirit of "Thanksgiving" is not just one day a year, but all year long! "Thanksgiving Thursday" gives you the opportunity on the day of your choice, between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:15 p.m., to provide and prepare "Thanksgiving" for the families and individuals that eat at our Crossroads facility. And leave the clean-up to us!
This would be a rewarding experience for all involved and a wonderful service project for your group or organization.
If you or your organization are interested in "Thanksgiving Thursday" please e-mail Beth Bailey, Food Service Coordinator at beth.patten-bailey@voanwo.org or Lilo Pierce, Administrative Assistant at lilo.pierce@voanwo.org, or call 419.626.6505.
