Helpmates

Volunteers create items by knitting, crocheting, and sewing.  Helpmates also collects new scarves, mittens, hats, stuffed animals and craft items for confined persons, children, and underserved individuals.


Helpmates is an Auxiliary of Volunteers of America Northwest Ohio.                     

Mission Statement

An ongoing year round program since 1975 of volunteers dedicated to remembering, with warmth and service, all confined persons and children regardless of race, color, creed, or financial status of the Sandusky and Erie County Community especially at Christmas.
